What is a Winter Shadow?
A Winter Shadow is a short-term (approximately 2–10 days) period of intense learning about an occupation of interest, a job shadow. Check out some previous Shadow experiences.
What will I do?
You will experience a variety of activities during Shadows, possibly including:
- Exploring career paths within a company/organization
- Having informational interviews with employees
- Observing interactions with customers and clients
- Meeting with decision makers
- Touring facilities
- Attending staff meetings
- Assisting with projects or tasks
