The collection of dorms known as "Cross Canyon" has changed somewhat over the years since they were built; currently they number five: Griffin-McKinley, Chittick, Woodbridge, and Bragdon. Surrounded by trees and built with split-levels, they are somewhat lodge-like. Their capaciousness and proximity to commons, Vollum, and Eliot make them convenient freshman housing.
