Undergraduate Research Grants due March 3
There are five grants administered by the Undergraduate Research Committee with an application deadline of March 3, 2017.
Reed College Science Research Fellowship - for student/faculty summer collaboration open to any science student who will be returning to Reed the following academic year (no seniors).
Ruby-Lankford - This grant is for student/faculty summer collaboration in humanities.
Opportunity Fellowship - This fellowship was brand new last year. This award is for a summer internship to work with a faculty member at a distant institution/lab or to attend an intensive seminar or workshop.
Opportunity Grant - almost always for students presenting their research at a conference. This grant has a max award of $1,500.
Initiative Grant - for students enrolled in Thesis 470 and need financial support to carry out their thesis project. This grant has a max award of $2,500.
