Sports Center closure due to weather conditions
Friday update:
Due to weather conditions and staffing, the Sports Center will be closing at 7 p.m. tonight, Dec. 9. We apologies for any inconvenience. We plan to have regular hours on Saturday.
Thursday:
Due to treacherous weather conditions forecast for later this evening, we have decided to close the Sports Center at 7 p.m. tonight. We apologies for any inconvenience. We plan to have regular hours Friday, unless weather and travel conditions make it unsafe.
Snow before 7pm, then snow, freezing rain, and sleet between 7pm and 10pm, then rain after 10pm. Temperature rising to around 37 by 5am. East wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of around an inch possible.
