Staffing Announcement from Bon Appetit
Sadly, James Burback, Director of Operations, will be leaving Bon Appetit at the end of October. He has accepted a great opportunity to run a local restaurant downtown.
In his time at Reed, James has been a great asset to the dining program and to our management team here at Reed. He brought many new ideas to Commons and leaves some big shoes to fill—we will miss his creativity and energy, but wish him the best in his future endeavors.
In the interim, Grace Wilson will fill the Director of Operations role while we search for his successor. Grace is a longtime Bon Appetit employee who has filled various roles during her tenure. She will be here through the hiring process and will assist with the transition. Grace can be reached at wilsong@reed.edu.
