Reed Arts Week (RAW) runs March 2–6

Reed Arts Week (RAW) is the college’s student-curated arts festival that takes place across campus from March 2 to 6. RAW includes visual art exhibitions, lectures, workshops, performances, and musical acts, and is free and open to the public. Curated by Forrest Wilson and Sarah Diab, RAW 2016 is centered around the theme "Remains."

To what extent are bodily remains, or the living body, an index of a person? How can individuality be recovered once it is lost, hidden, forgotten, or withered, and an altered structure remains? Do remains look or act a certain way? What forms do they take amongst the living?

This year, Reed Arts Week features work by guest artists: Naotaka Hiro, Erin Jane Nelson, Derek Paul Boyle, Mitra Saboury, Arielle Chiara, Fish Narc (Ben FriarsFunkhouser), Tony Chrenka, Nick Irvin, manuel arturo abreu, and Shawné Michaelain Holloway; and presents performances by Metropol (Charlie Perez), 7038634357 (Neil Gibson), BB Sun, Marshstepper, Khotin (Dylan KhotinFoote) , DJ Rivera (Della Green), Keane Nwede (I Belongin a Garden), Yung Bruh (Tracy!!!). In addition, RAW features visual art and performances by a host of Reed student artists. These works are displayed among campus in the Feldenheimer Gallery, GCC's, Vollum Lounge, the Sports Center, and many more locations.
