Campus Announcements

Next week, the campus will see many guests- July 13 to July 17 is the peak of summer conferences!  So expect more choices in commons (and more of a crowd) as well as more people wandering around.  Here are the main conferences and their headquarters:

• Chamber Music Northwest (now until 7/25) will have concerts on Mondays Thursdays, and Saturdays, as well as open rehearsals on Friday.  They have their office in Kaul 190.
• The Summer Institute of Intercultural Communication  (7/14 to 7/26) conducts classes in the Library, ETC, PAB and Psychology building.  They also offer evening programming that is open to the public.  Their headquarters are in Vollum Lounge.
• The Tin House writing conference (7/12 to 7/19) will be using classrooms in Vollum and Eliot, as well as offering nightly readings open to the public.  Their office will be located in GCC-A.
• Saturday Academy will continue day classes for children now until August.  They will be in the Biology building, ETC, Chemistry and Physics.

In addition to these conferences, we will also have the Kealy Tennis Camp on the north tennis courts, as well as the Rip City Squash camp using the Sports Center squash courts.
