Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration & service

You are invited to join Reed students, staff, faculty, and Portland community members on Monday, January 19 for a day of celebration and service on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year's program will invoke the legacy of Dr. King's Poor People's Campaign by addressing issues related to housing injustice. Join community leaders, scholars, and artists for a discussion about livability and gentrification in the city of Portland. The program will take place at 6 p.m. in Eliot Chapel.
Earlier in the day, SEEDS will facilitate service opportunities at various sites around Portland. Please RSVP in advance for the SEEDS service event. Transportation to off-campus service sites will be provided. Additional details will be available soon.

For more information, contact Meredith Dickinson.
