Black Box Theatre, PAB
This event is open to the public.

"Think life is too long to be a whale in a cubicle." —Andrew Bird

It takes seven years for every cell in your body to replace itself, but the characters of Maria Irene Fornes' The Successful Life of 3 aren't waiting around. Crashing and careening through the scenes of a life, scarred by social doctrine and personal insecurity, the three lost souls of Fornes' exuberant comedy find solace in one another as they pick apart the puzzles of capitalism and patriarchy and throw them to the wind. This naïve ménage-à-trois will teach you to love play, to never doubt your own road to success, and to take pleasure in failure. By the end of our time together, you too will sing, "I want to be wrong!" Directed by Walker Holden ’14. Tickets: $3–5; 503-777-7284 or online later this fall.
