Volunteer Weekend

Reed's annual Volunteer Weekend will take place Thursday, September 24 through Saturday, September 26, 2009. This is a great opportunity to meet with other hard-working volunteers and college staff in preparation for the coming academic year. The weekend is designed for alumni board members and other volunteers to learn more about the college, receive relevant training, and enjoy each other's company.

RSVP with your name, the name of any guest*, the volunteer group with which you are affiliated, and which meals you and your guest will be attending, to alumni@reed.edu.

As for travel expenses, we will cover non-board volunteers up to $600. Alumni board members, please refer to the standard volunteer expense policy (by which you may be reimbursed for one trip per year). In order to be reimbursed, please send all of your receipts and a completed volunteer expense form to Reed College Alumni & Parent Relations, 3203 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202. Please contact Mike Teskey, director of alumni & parent relations, with any questions about reimbursement.

*Partners are welcome at the Friday and night dinner gathering; please note that we will pay for their dinner, but not travel expenses.
