Highlights

bullet pointConvocation

Reed-A-Palooza kicks off with a convocation concert. Attend the world premier of an improvisational jazz piano concerto by David Schiff, and featuring pianist Larry Karush ‘68.

bullet pointGet psyched!

The psychology department needs some group therapy! Join retiring faculty members Allen Neuringer and Dell Rhodes (Dell retired a year ago and Allen is retiring this year) along with a large group of alumni who are returning to celebrate, share, and discuss.

Get nuked!

Reed has the only nuclear reactor in the nation that is operated primarily by undergraduates. Licensed students use it for thesis projects and to increase their understanding of radiation and radioactivity. Take a tour of the facility followed by an open house for past nuclear reactor workers plus other interested alumni.
