Music as a Cultural Bridge

The program invites you to learn, think, contribute, and even make music as we create a truly participatory and multi-sensory experience. Mornings will be devoted to lectures and discussions. Afternoons will allow participants to expand their musical repertoire. Evenings will be filled with music and dance—courtesy of your instructors and your peers.

Depending on your interests, you can:

• Be part of a jug band
• Improve your improvisational skills
• Learn elements of backup guitar
• Dance pioneer jigs
• Pick up some ukulele tunes
• Listen in and comment as a jazz orchestra prepares for a performance

Following registration, participants will be sent an information sheet to complete and return. This will help us finalize the program to maximize the experience for all.
