First-year Students

If you are a first-year student interested in mathematics, science, or the environment, see below for eligibility requirements for the Goldwater and Udall scholarships and consider applying for summer research positions.

Sophomores & Juniors

Goldwater

For high-achieving (3.8 GPA or higher) entering sophomores or juniors who have research experience obtained during the summer and who intend to pursue a career in mathematics or science at the PhD level. Deadline: November 15, 2012.

For high-achieving (3.5 GPA or higher) entering sophomores or juniors who intend to pursue a career in the environment and have a demonstrated passion for research or activities regarding the environment. Deadline: January 31, 2013.
